In September of 2008 Gautam Gujral trekked to an elevation of over 18,000 feet in support of Comp2Kids. Many friends and supporters of Comp2Kids and Gautam used this blog to follow his journeys and together we raised over $11,000 to bring technology to New York City public school students. News From New Delhi

Steve Forte and I landed on Tuesday night in Delhi and went to the hotel where we met Linda and two of my cousins who live in Gurgaon, a city near Delhi. It is now Wednesday, and we are at the Delhi airport waiting to board the flight to Katmandu. We have now run into 3 more folks who will be on the trek. Vassil from Sophia, Bulgaria. Rod and Joel from Winnipeg. A few others are already in Katmandu having come via Bangkok - we were a bit worried about them yesterday on account of the poitical unrest in Thailand yesterday. It is close to a 100 degrees in Delhi - even in the evening. Looking forward to the big mountains. Bye for now.
